Once again our intrepid reporters have returned to Demesne Road in their quest to uncover the weirder happenings in Whalley Range. Nothing has been witnessed at the house since our initial evidence of a haunting and occult practice within was uncovered.

This time we delved further into the dowels of the house, taking alongside us medium Catherine Renaud-DuBois and more sophisticated recording and detection equipment. Our report regarding the chilling findings uncovered during a seance with Catherine and a spirit referring to itself as General Halja will be posted here next week as all recorded evidence is currently undergoing further analysis and verification with our colleagues at the department of Forensic Science at MMU.

In the meantime we can present a few images of some intriguing items found inside the house, all indicating some form of medical research was taking place in the property.

Hand written biological research [fig 1] - الخلايا والجنون by Abdul Lazed Rah - this note book was found located in a concealed attic space along side a pill bottle [fig 2]. The area looked as if it was previously set up as some sort of laboratory facility, fire damaged remains showed a crude fume cupboard and extraction pipe system connected to the houses main chimney [fig 3] but little else remained aside from a few shattered test tubes and a melted metal object warped beyond recognition by heat.

  4. It's a shame this place has now been forgotten. I still go past the old house and nothing has changed, it is still abandoned and crumbling.
